Our February Meeting is on Saturday, February 20 and we continue to hear from our candidates. Early voting begins on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 and those candidates we have invited to speak, are our Countywide Candidates, Judge of 422nd, Judicial District (2), Sheriff (3) and Tax Assessor (3).
Elections are our most important subject and we are bound by our by-laws to be impartial and not support any particular candidate as a club. But we encourage our members to actively support the candidate of their choice. Our by-laws prohibit the President and Campaign Activities Vice President from supporting any candidate publicly. But we invite any and all candidates to participate in our meetings.
We meet at the Farm Bureau, located at 2477 State Hwy 34, north of Kaufman. We serve refreshments at 9:30 a.m. and our meeting begins at 10:00 a.m.
