Happy fall to all club members. We have been blessed with a very mild one giving us an opportunity to enjoy the glory of fall in North Texas. I would like to remind everyone the Scarecrow Fall Festival is coming up on the 22nd of October in Kaufman. If you have not signed up for a time to work please contact myself or Jody and we will find you a place and give you an opportunity to work.
Thank you to all who came out to watch the first presidential debate at Carmona’s in Terrell. I regret not being there myself but I understand it was an enjoyable time watching the candidates in their first debate. Their second debate is scheduled for October 9th and it will once again be interesting, with the third debate scheduled for Wednesday, October 19.
We are in a very vulnerable time and it is critical for the Republican Party to win the White House in November. If you come across anyone who is not registered to vote be sure and get them registered by Tuesday the 11th at 5:00 p.m. That is the cut off date to have registered for the election. Myself along with Amy Byers can assist in getting someone registered.
If you would like campaign signs get with Jody and she can help you with those.
Our next meeting is Saturday, October15th. Bring a friend and help build our club membership.
