Happy New Year! I hope this finds you well. I am excited about the New Year for Kaufman County Republican Women in 2018. We will be very busy in the upcoming months; so come along with us as we move into this important election cycle. We have many exciting candidates that are seeking office in Kaufman County. As Republican women we need to be actively involved in the process to educate ourselves about the candidates and to be informed on issues locally, statewide and nationally. In this New Year, I’d also like to invite you to take a leadership role in our club. There are many committees, projects, and activities that we will need volunteers to fill these important positions. Please consider taking on a new exciting opportunity. To that end, TFRW Leadership Day is scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Georgetown Sheraton. If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible; there still may be time to sign you up. This leadership training will be phenomenal.
Our programs for the January and February meetings (before the March 6, 2018 Primary Election) will be an opportunity to meet the different candidates seeking office. Please mark your calendar for January 20, 2018 and February 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. for Kaufman County Republican Women. Meetings are located at the Farm Bureau on Highway 34. I am looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones in the upcoming year. Stop by early for coffee- see you on the 20th!
