Our April meeting will be at the Farm Bureau, 2477 State Hwy 34, Kaufman, at 9:30 a.m. for refreshments, and the meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. Our speaker will be Tax Assessor Tonya Ratcliff, who will give us a report on the Primary Election. In Kaufman County, the Tax Assessors’ office also handles elections. Although, this was a Primary election and the Parties are responsible, they contract with the County to handle the election.
We do realize that Saturday falls between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Lots of you will be going out of town or having family visiting from out of town, but we decided that we would go ahead with the meeting.
