Membership

I am very excited and looking forward to being Chairman of Membership this term for KCRW. Now is the time for us as club members to pull together and celebrate the 30 years this organization has been established.

On February 6th I attended the TFRW Boot Camp held in Memorial City. Not exactly sure what the agenda was for the day I decided to make my appearance early on the 4th floor so to insure my place in the seminars I had signed up for. I arrived in time for some badly needed coffee, a light breakfast and my designated seat. To my surprise the room quickly filled with a sea of red jackets, red blouses, patriotic scarfs and sashes. Houston gave a warm welcome with the Boot Camp leaders donned in cammo. Being solo and a newbie Jody had arranged for me to meet up with Melanie Grammar, our district director. Glad to see a familiar face I settled in for the opening celebration for the last day of camp.

By attending this Boot Camp I have come away energized and wanting to be a more dedicated Republican Woman. We are in a battle to take our country back and it starts at the grass root level. As we are well aware, there is power in numbers.

I want to encourage each of you to look at the sphere of influence you have around you and invite women to come along side of us as we continue this great organization of Republican Woman of Kaufman County. After 30 years of a legacy set before us it is our duty and our obligation to continue in what has been established here with our voice, influence and strength of Republican women.

I didn’t learn anything I really don’t already know about membership. Captain obvious is staring us in the face; we need members who are willing to stand and be supportive of our candidates, country and home.

I will be planning membership drives and incentives this year. If any of you would like to be part of the membership committee please let me know. Right now I am asking for “EACH ONE, TO REACH ONE”.
