Happy New Year to KCRW.
It’s the beginning of a new year and, as always, I look forward new beginnings. Last year was what I like to call ” and uneventful year” for me personally. Not that it wasn’t a good year, it was. Just nothing life changing occurred so 2017 went out without a hitch. I hope yours was as well.
I want to welcome everyone back to our amazing Republican Woman’s Organization. For those who are returning members welcome, for those who are new members, we welcome you to our organization. We hope you find a home here with us. We represent the best county in the state of Texas, in my opinion.
Being January, it it’s time for membership renewal. If you haven’t re-upped for the 2018 season, I ask that you do so this month. Our dues have increased so the annual due for membership is now at $35.00. If you are adding an associate member their fee is now at $20.00 making a total of $55.00. Please make your check out to KCRW and either mail it to P.O. Box 1104, Kaufman 75142 or see me at our next meeting on Saturday, January 20th.
The executive committee has already been planning our year for 2018 and we will be having some exciting events taking place. Being this an election year for so many positions we will be focusing on our candidates. Please come to the meetings and take advantage of the personal meet and greets we will be having. This great opportunity has been afforded to us as Republican woman to get to know as many candidates as we can allowing us the privilege to help keep Republican’s in office and to continuing a strong representation in the political realm.
I will be looking forward to seeing everyone at the January meeting. Always feel free to bring a guest.
