Due to the late primary of May 29, the Texas Republican Party created some rules in order to have the county convention before the primary. (It is normally after primary and precinct convention.)
Therefore the Kaufman Co. Republican Party will conduct our County Convention on April 14 at the Kaufman High School, 3205 S. Houston Street. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and convention will begin at 9:00a.m.
If you plan to attend, please reply by email so we can prepare lists and name tags ahead of time. When you RSVP, please provide your precinct voting box number, not commissioner precinct.
Also please bring your voter registration card from the last two years. If you cannot locate it, please bring your driver’s license. You will have to swear or affirm that you are Republican.
To expedite the committee’s work, please submit resolutions in advance to Bill Baker either by mail or email and he will get them to the committee chair.
