October is here and as of this writing we have 23 days until Election Day, November 4. The races are heating up with lots of attack ads by the D’s, in both our State and other National Elections. Getting the vote out is the key to winning this election and the D’s are worried about their turnout.
There are political signs out, although, I have not seen many in our county. We do have some available if anyone wants one, we have a few Dan Patrick, George P. Bush, Ryan Sitton and Glen Hegar. We will have them at the October meeting and again at our booth at the Scarecrow Festival.
Speaking of the Scarecrow Festival, we still need volunteers to work on Saturday, October 25. Please let me know when you would like to work. We will be setting up around 7:00 a.m. On the square. We will be passing out literature and signs and selling “Don’t Mess with Texas Women” t-shirts. Be sure to get yours.
I called a special meeting for Monday, October 6 due to a lack of a quorum at our September meeting. We did have a quorum and were able to approve our By-Law Revisions. They have been sent to TFRW for their approval.
Our October meeting is for the Election of Officers. The nominations committee met and presented their slate at the September meeting. The list is as follows;

There is so much going on right now and we need to get to work and
REV UP OUR ENTHUSIASM. The D’s are working to turn Texas Blue and we must keep working to KEEP TEXAS RED!!!!!!
