President's Message
HAPPY SUPER TUESDAY!!!
If you haven’t voted, TODAY is your last chance, polls are open until 7:00 p.m. this evening! Also, don’t
forget to attend your Precinct Convention this evening as well, it will start 30 minutes after the polls
close. If you have any questions please reach out to me.
I am excited about our March program, the Chairs for our Standing Committees will have all of the
information you need to know to make an informed decision on which committee you would like to join.
Also, I am super excited about our Membership Tea at the end of this month! You will be receiving
more information from our Membership Chair, Gail Brand, later this week. This is an opportunity for us
to grow our club, so please start thinking about family and friends that you would like to invite.
If you placed an order through our on-line store, those items are ready and will be at our regular
meeting on Monday, March 9th . If you missed the deadline for placing a t-shirt order, we will have a few
for sale at the meeting for $15.00. And if you ordered a name tag, those are ready as well, please bring
$10.00 cash or check to the meeting on Monday. KCRW also has a Venmo account to make paying
easier! You can find it by searching Monica Beavers @KCRW2020.
Last, if you have not paid your dues for 2020, they are now delinquent and TFRW will no longer allow
you access to their website, which has GREAT information. Please pay those dues as soon as possible!

President, K.C.R.W.
Caring for America
March for Meals
March’s Caring for America emphasis will be our county’s Meals on Wheels program. Senior Connect is the administrative agency for this service. We serve approximately 375 home delivered meals daily. During the month of March, we place special emphasis on the need in the community….we call it March for Meals. We invite all of you to deliver a route in your area at any time during March. Take pictures so we can post on social media. You can email the pictures to [email protected]. This is so important for our program. One of the current battles that’s being fought on the National level is the influx of “for profit” agencies that want to drop ship boxed meals to isolated seniors. Since 1965 Meals on Wheels has provided more than a meal, by providing daily contact for our neighbors. Your involvement will help us bring this need to light.
Listed below are the directors at each of our centers. Contact the director at the Center nearest you (or nearest your work location) to schedule a time to deliver a route. Go in pairs, take your kids, whatever works for your schedule. Our seniors will love it! We need a background check on anyone over age 17. Volunteer agreement
Thanks in advance!

Historian
What is a Historian?
Purpose: As a committee our primary job is to keep track of activities and achievements associated with the KCRW. To achieve this job we may take pictures, collect documents or prepare written reports so KCRW has documentation of events as they occur.
Need: Since I’m just getting started in this role, if you have any past documentation, pictures, or other things that would help in “re-creating” history of the club I would certainly appreciate it. Bring whatever you have to any meeting or, if you have it in digital form, e-mail it to [email protected].

Reminders
- Campaign Hours:
- Please do not forget to turn in your hours to Devon Murphey at the next meeting or send her a quick email [email protected].
- Dinner Pick Up:
- Ladies, we would like to try something a little different with our dinner pick up routine for our Monday evening meetings. Instead of one person being responsible for the pick up and take home of what is remaining, we would like to ask members to volunteer to pick up the food on their way to the meeting. The club will still be responsible for the bill, therefore, please hold your receipt so our Treasurer can reimburse you for the expense. We will have a list at the March 9thmeeting with future dates to choose from, if interested in helping out with this need.
