This coming Monday, September 9, Amy Tarno, our membership chair will be our guest speaker for the meeting. She is going to explain what it means to be a member of KCRW, new or existing. She will cover the importance of TFRW,(Texas Federation of Republican Woman), the importance of our bylaws, the information on our committees, etc. In other words, the full spectrum of our existence. On Monday, August 12th we will reconvene for the beginning of last part of our year. During this meeting Jimmy Weaver, our county chair, will be our guest speaker. He will be bringing a power point presentation that will help us to understand the danger our county is in losing our republican hold. After the presentation we are going to go to work by personally signing a printed invitation and hand addressing them to potentially new members and on the flip side of the flyer is our Bunco information/invitation.

Our next meeting is scheduled for this Monday, May 13th. Tracy Gray has invited our area Texas Ranger and our sheriff to come and enlighten us on public safety measures and speak on the immediate dangers county’s all around Texas are experiencing.

On April 24th, women from all around the state of Texas will be gathering at our state capitol for Legislative Day. I am going for the two days which will consist of an evening reception to get to know one another, Bells ‘n Boots, a luncheon, meetings and a trip to our House of Representative office within the capitol.
